Powerful meaning...
Horses can teach us ways to heal and grow in countless ways. Their non-judgemental disposition can teach us valuable lessons, new ways of healing and learning. Horses can bring a connection between teacher/counselor and peer interaction by supporting self-awareness and empowerment for a safer school environment.
Jo describing human electromagnetic field (EMF) , our personal bubbles and how a horse’s EMF is 10 times greater than a human’s field.
Teacher (Will) grooming and connecting with Markie (horse).
Herschel (donkey) closes his eyes while enjoying the attention.
Teachers choosing a horse to connect with one of the horses.

After learning about electromagnetic energy and the stages of energy, teachers herd the horses from the outer pasture into the barn.
Teachers greeting each of the horses.
Developing boundaries and positive space.

During this segment YEEHAAA focuses on:
-
The crisis Utah has with our youth taking their own lives as young as 10 years old.
-
Interacting with a horse creates that awe-ha moment that increases personal growth. When you have horses as a co-facilitator, you start to develop a relationship through the activities.
-
This creates a positive environment between student-to-student and teacher-to-student for team-building skills, empathy, boundaries, and personal growth. Research shows positive relationships can prevent bullying and suicide.
